How are AArora ShowCase boxes different from other keepsake box options?

Every single one of our boxes is handcrafted by a skilled artisan in the United States, there is no mass manufacturing. The boxes are highly customizable, accommodating virtually any size of album and mementos. Beyond their unique one-of-a-kind beauty, each box offers superior protection from humidity and moisture by incorporating Dri-box technology. Your memories will also be protected by the special super dense, jet black, closed-cell conductive foam which lines the interiors. This premium material is archival, acid-free and absorbs static electricity, a combination creating an environment that ensures your memories are preserved not only for your enjoyment but for the enjoyment of generations to come.

May I customize my box?

Yes! Each of our four collections offer its own distinctive characteristics and may be customized to accommodate virtually any size album. Customization options include a wide variety of natural hardwoods, finishes, and the addition of artisan flourishes. Our Transformation Collection takes it a step further by incorporating artistically enhanced images using encaustic, pyrography, and other innovative photo adaptation and transfer techniques. Momentos may be accommodated as well, such as adding Champagne glasses, a flash drive, compact disc, program, and more. Our special foam may be molded and cut to fit a wide range of extra momentos.

How do I place an order?

AArora ShowCase boxes are offered through select Photographers and Event Professionals. We currently serve the markets of Beverly Hills and Orange Coast in California and will shortly be adding a partner in London (UK). We will expand to other markets as capacity allows. Inquiries are always welcome—we are happy to give friendly referrals.

What if I want to use a photographer not on your distribution list?

We would be happy to reach out to your photographer of choice or discuss other options.

What if I want to use my existing photo album?

No problem, our boxes are highly customizable to almost any album size. Our super dense, jet-black closed-cell foam not only protects your album from the elements, it may also be shaped to fit nearly any sized object, including your existing album.

What are your shipping rates?

Shipping costs will be quoted as part of the final invoice, based on carrier and delivery method desired.

What do I need to pay up front?

Deposits are dependent on final estimated cost. For box in inventory priced less than $1,000 there is no deposit required. For boxes in inventory priced between $1,000—4,000 a $500 deposit is required to secure the ShowCase of your choice. For a custom box a 50% deposit of total estimated price, or as otherwise agreed, is required. 

How long will it take to complete my order?

If you to customize a ShowCase from our inventory, once we receive any required items such as text images, you may expect a finished product within 30 days. Please ask us for assistance with rush orders to meet special dates such as an anniversary or holiday. Custom orders building a ShowCase from scratch typically take around 90 days.

I have a particular wood I want used, can you do it?

We have a continent-wide network of artisans able to source a great variety of hardwoods, embellishments, and other substrates. We are very confident we can meet the most exacting of requirements, although some procurement efforts may take a bit longer than others.

What is the Warranty?

We unconditionally guarantee our ShowCase products for life against any defects in workmanship.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your finished ShowCase. We have a meticulous quality control process and will endeavor to remedy any defect that may have inadvertently gone undetected, or accept a return if it cannot be remediated.
