A box worthy of baseball's elite players

HOF Box - presented to new inductee 2.jpg

We are thrilled beyond words to present the customized AArora ShowCase box for the 2015 Baseball Hall of Fame inductees.

Each box contains a customized archival foam insert to hold the inductee's mementoes from their climatic induction weekend: a photo album, thumb drive with digital images, DVD of the Induction Ceremony, Hall of Fame ring box, and cards depicting their Hall of Fame plaque.

As you may have read earlier, AArora ShowCase  founder Alan Arora began a relationship with the Baseball Hall of Fame in the 1990's. All these years later his vision of making a lasting contribution to the legacy of baseball's elite players took shape in the form of these boxes, each one personalized for each inductee. After a year and a half of development, the ShowCases will now be an annual contribution to America's game.

The Baseball Hall of Fame was impressed with both the quality and the utility of the box. "They're a big hit!" exclaimed HOF President Jeff Idelson.  We think the pun was intended!

This is the first year each inductee received their Hall of Fame Induction Weekend mementoes in an AArora ShowCase, engraved with their name and year of induction. In addition each living inductee or widow from prior years received a personalized ShowCase box in honor of the Baseball Hall of Fame's 75th Anniversary. The Leadership Collection is off to a great start!

Handcrafted boxes for America's baseball hereos

As we mentioned back in May, we've been creating a special box for Baseball Hall of Fame inductees.

AArora ShowCase has been working with a master craftsman in upstate New York, coincidentally just 75 miles from the Hall of Fame, creating a customized box adapted from the American Classic Leadership Collection. These boxes are painstakingly handcrafted of solid cherry in the same traditional style for the last 200 years, a seemingly perfect fit to honor the greatest players from 140+ years of baseball history.

What began as a small project for the group of 2015 inductees (the amazing lineup of Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz, and Craig Biggio) became a much larger project celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Hall of Fame as a whole.

Working closely with Hall of Fame staff, AArora ShowCase is thrilled to be providing a customized box for all living inductees and widows of inductees.

It's going to be a hit!

We're very excited to announce an ongoing relationship with the Baseball Hall of Fame. AArora ShowCase is providing a customized box to all living inductees and widows for the Hall's 75th anniversary, as well as providing boxes to future inductees!

The opportunity to work with the Hall of Fame is especially meaningful for  AArora ShowCase founder Alan Arora, who has a lifelong love of baseball. He started playing at age 10 in Little League and continued into high school. His favorite players? Close friends Orlando Cepeda and Juan Marichal. (But he says Sandy Koufax and Hank Aaron rank right up there!)

In the 1990's Alan's work in real estate led him to some promotional opportunities with the Baseball Hall of Fame and an invitation to his first Hall of Fame inductee weekend.

When AArora ShowCase was founded in 2013, Alan immediately began to brainstorm about how to incorporate his love of baseball into his new venture of creating unique  keepsake boxes. It occurred to him that there could be a natural fit with the Baseball Hall of Fame with whom he now had an ongoing relationship. He noted that each new inductee received/collected a number of mementoes from their induction weekend--a photo album, DVD, signed baseballs, credentials, etc. All that was missing was a gorgeous "ShowCase" to keep them in! The Hall of Fame agreed. After months of discussions and prototypes, production began on the customized cherrywood boxes.

Stay tuned for more information on this project. It's going to be a hit!
